After weeks of practice, the kings come out victorious for the annual royal lip sync battle, Oct. 5.
Both boys and girls prepared two sets with an intermission performed by English teacher Kyle Dodson. With over 10 songs, the candidates felt they had a lot to memorize for the performance.
Queen nominee, Jenna Bynum, ’18, remembers watching performances from previous years with hopes to someday participate in the royal battle.
“I was really excited but nervous to be in front of the whole school and perform.” Bynum said. “I was looking forward to getting closer to the other girls that were going to be performing with me.”
