Fresno Christian varsity girls volleyball is defeated, 3-1, after playing in the four games against Minarets in the FC gym, Oct. 19.
After losing the first game, the eagles came back with a win, winning the second game of the match. What seemed like a comeback eventually turned into a loss for the team as they finished the last two games.
Sophomore Kaylie Clem played every second of all four games in the match.
“Going into the game my nerves were high knowing how skilled this team was,” Clem said. “After a team pep talk, and watching the excitement of the crowd, you could feel the energy in the gym. The match was exhausting and draining, but even though we lost, I feel like we won the battle.”
