FC says goodbye to Michelle Warkentin as Oct. 26 is her last day to serve as campus academic counselor.

For six years, Warkentin has served FC seniors, advising and assisting them throughout the path of college decision-making, planning and academic counseling.

An individual student who has received college advice from Warkentin is McKensy Neal. Neal appreciated the honesty about Warkentin’s advice. 

“It made me feel much more relaxed knowing that I had Mrs. Warkentin by my side as I made these crucial college decisions,” Neal said. “College decisions are pretty scary but knowing somebody so wise in the matter is willing to work with you to figure out what’s best was really comforting.”

As Warkentin accepts a job at Clovis Community College, Evangelina Tello has been hired to fill the role of campus academic adviser.
