Fathers of campus students from all grades gather for morning prayer group before school, Nov. 1. 

The Fathers Shoulder to Shoulder group has 15 members who meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 a.m. Together the prayer team of fathers pray over current FC events. They also pray over FC community members.

Member and elementary fourth grade teacher Matthew Weimer encourages dads to attend the morning meetings to be together as one and seek the wisdom of God,

“When we met together we come to the Good Shepherd for wisdom, strength, protection, direction, shield and inspiration to do these jobs,” Weimer said. “Dads who haven’t come yet can also benefit from the wisdom we get from God and his word by joining us on the first Wednesday in December in room 603. They will be encouraged that they do not stand alone.”
