As the Christmas season nears, campus students fill boxes with useful items to benefit children worldwide through Operation Christmas Child, Nov. 6.
The campus has annually partnered with Samaritan’s Purse for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift program. The boxes that students pack will travel all around the world to various countries around Africa and Asia to be given to children. For many kids, this may be the only Christmas gift that they receive.
The final day to turn in boxes will now be Thursday, Nov. 16. The goal this year is to bring in 400 boxes school-wide, an increase from last years 360. Students can turn in their boxes into the following classrooms:
- Freshmen: Dodson- Room 603
- Sophomores: Foster- Room 614
- Juniors: Rodriguez- Room 623
- Seniors: Counts- Room 606
Be sure to turn in your boxes before Thursday!
