Worship team students practice their songs in preparation for Thursday’s chapel, Nov. 14.

Every Thursday, worship chapel provides students an opportunity to take a break from their busy school day to worship through music. Daniel Garrison’s worship team prepares each week for chapel through learning a variety of songs that will engage students in a worshipful environment.

The team rehearses three days of the week to feel more prepared for weekly chapel.  Vocals, drums, keys, bass, acoustic, and electric guitar each play their part instrumentally.

Wesley Hinton, ‘20, contributes to the worship team through his talent by playing keys. Hinton appreciates the spiritual opportunity that worship team provides to him.

“Each week the team that’s on works very hard on the set in preparation for rehearsal in class,” Hinton said. “I really appreciate the opportunity we have at Fresno Christian to have a worship team class and to do chapel, that is what separates us from other schools. Chapels are my favorite thing about FCS.”

The next worship chapel is Thursday, Nov. 16.
