Scott Bucher’s physics class drop eggs from the gym roof, Nov. 17.
Each student created a model to save the egg from cracking once they dropped it from the gym roof.
Senior Wyatt Koop shares his favorite part of physics and what he did for the egg protection.
“We are wrapping up chapters on momentum,” Koop said. “The egg drops were to demonstrate forces, time, and momentum. By extending the time of collision there would be less momentum, preventing the egg from breaking. Physics is fun because of all the labs we do during class and testing the laws of science.“
While some student’s contraptions failed, other’s succeeded and survived the fall.
