Campus girls basketball is returning for another season of action. Coming back for the fourth consecutive year of high school girls basketball team, and the girls are looking to make the best of it. The team is still young and is looking to build a strong foundation for the team this season.
Although the season is only just beginning, many of the girls have already put in hours of hard work and practice. The girls goal is to raise the bar and score higher than the previous years with an overall record of 7-20. They are putting hours of effort and commitment into this season to improve their league status of 4-6.
This year two freshmen girls, Hannah Villines and Hannah Van Noy joined the team both interested in improving the score from the years past, along with returnees. Erin Wilson, ’18, Alina Davila, ’19, Macie Thompson, ’19, Natalya Hill, ’18, Kayla Vanderlinden, ’20 and Ashley Zamarripa, ’19.
The team is coached by Robert Foshee and Mike Zamarripa for the fourth year in a row. The girls will participate in a variety of tournaments throughout this winter. Check back on The Feather Twitter, @thefeather, for upcoming games and events.
