The Feather Online is flashing back through the high school years of campus faculty. Some memories are long forgotten while others remain encapsulated forever in time.
Can you guess who this faculty flashback is?
What high school did you go to?
What year did you graduate?
1999
Activities/ sports you were involved in?
I was on The Drill Team (Christian schools rarely say the word “dance”) and student council all 4 years. I did choir my senior year. I was in the chapel band for two years.
Most embarrassing high school moment?
I fell down a hill trying to pass by a group of seniors while wearing my uniform to school for the first time during Freshman year; it ties with mid-class flatulence my junior year in English class, I pretty much had a monopoly on awkward.
One piece of advice from high school you would share?
Go to everything you can, enjoy every second, try not to take yourself so seriously, and love everyone; we all get gas from time to time!
