The Clovis Children’s Electric Christmas Parade is put together by the Clovis Kiwanis Club. This event brings thousands of families and friends together to watch floats, old cars, marching bands and more stroll down the streets of Old Town Clovis.
Kiwanis Club is an international organization of volunteers are dedicated to change the world one community and one child at a time. Kiwanis Club performs acts of community service and hosting world wide events.
Thousands of individuals look forward to this event each year. Many businesses, churches, radio stations and more spend weeks putting together and decorating floats for this parade. Members of junior high and high school bands work hard to organize a breathtaking marching performance.
This year, as in previous years, over 2,000 people showed up to watch these miraculous lights on the streets of Clovis. Many say The Electric Light Parade is a favorite in the City of Clovis.
Kiwanis Club is honored to host this unique event during this festive holiday. They have held this event for many years and many years to come. The following video was filmed and edited by freshman Kaden Friesen.
