Feature Art No. 7 – Self Portrait
Description: This portrait is entirely made from colored pencils, with a new technique I learned from artist Lisa Lachri. Using odorless mineral spirits or Gamsol, I blended out the pigment to make a smoother finish. I based this portrait off of a picture of me, creating the image with a variety of browns, tans and pinks.
