Andrea Donaghe’s AP literature class discuss questions based on the novel Frankenstein, by Mary Shelly, Jan. 10.

Students are assigned the novel to read over Christmas break and prepare to discuss in class.

Students are appointed to multiple small groups and given a question to analyze from the paper given to them. Questions were based on Gothic and Romantic style.

After groups talk amongst themselves, they share their results with the class.

They will continue to go over the novel focusing on themes found throughout the book, Jan. 12.

Donaghe’s next novel assignment for the class is, ‘Heart of Darkness’, a novella literary genre.
