The FCJH cheer team practices a stunt called ‘the whale’ as apart of their competition routine, Jan. 18.
Learning the routine in November, the girls continue to work hard on their routine each week at practice.
The routine was taught by Chris and Alyssa Trout who are coaches at Clovis United. It is complete with stunts, tumbling such as roundoff back handsprings, a dance section and a crowd involvement or cheer section.
They will compete in their first competition at the Clovis Pep Classic, Jan. 27.
