Feature Art No. 8 by senior Catherine Palacios
Title: Color Wheel
Description: According to Catherine, the artwork portrayed here is a color wheel she learned about containing primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. She expressed her creativity in her color wheel with unique building structures from around the world.
“Just like each building is unique, each color is unique as well. No color is alike,” Palacios said. “I felt that the buildings would effectively and accurately portray this. I thought these buildings would be interesting, since they’re the most appreciated buildings in history.
“I think that these colors, just like these buildings, should be appreciated for their beauty and unique expression and feeling one gets just by looking at it,” Palacios continued. “Without these buildings, our world would be despondent and without colors our world would be dull.”
