Anatomy of perch fish
[/media-credit] Junior Reece Trevino dissects perch fish to study the structure of fish, Feb. 7.

Dr. Karen Walter’s zoology dissect perch fish, Feb. 7. This helps students learn the anatomy of fish.

Each Wednesday the class divides into different partners and work together on the lab.

Zoology consists mostly of dissections on sea animals. In the past, they anatomize octopus, shark, lobster and phylum molluska.

This semester the class plans to dive into land animals such as repitiles, mammals and birds.

Each student also fills out a packet as they analyze, learning different parts of the fish and how it functions.
