The FC varsity girls soccer team receive shirts at their team dinner, Feb. 16.

Coach Matt Markarian personally made each shirt with the help of Square Heart Shops. Each shirt has the saying “We Believe” with the girls last names and numbers on the back.

The girls sit at the number one seed as they enter into playoffs. After finishing season with a 7-3 record, the ladies are excited to begin playoffs. Carlee Whipple, a captain on the team is confident in her team as they finish out their season.

“We’ve prepared for these games all year. I’m excited to play in the upcoming games and hope we play our best.” Whipple said. “Our coach told us that these are the games where we need to be strong and courageous, and no matter the results, win or lose with grace.”

FC girls soccer will be playing against Mendota Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. for their first playoff game.
