The FC high school choir completes a busy day three in the “Big Apple,” April 12.
Exhausted from touring, the group gets the opportunity to sleep in before beginning their adventures.
After eating breakfast, the groups depart for the American Museum of Natural History. Opening in 1869, the museum holds exhibits showing plants, animals, and cultures from all around the world. Students enjoy seeing recognizable artifacts from textbooks and movies. Notably, the Easter Island Head from “Night At The Museum.” After adventuring around the museum, the group heads to Central Park for lunch.
The historical Central Park takes up over 843 acres of the inner city of New York. Students enjoy seeing the beautiful nature within the busy, industrial city. The group takes a walking tour through the whole park, including the Bethesda Terrace, and the Bow Bridge. After visiting the park, the groups navigate their way through the subway back to the hotel.

At the hotel, students get ready for the rest of the evening. The group walks to “Planet Hollywood” for dinner and spends some time in Times Square before heading to their play.
The group goes to see “The Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway. The production stars Laird Mackintosh as The Phantom and Ali Ewoldt as Christine. Students enjoy the opera voices and special effects of the show. Tomorrow night, the group will see their second show: “Aladdin.”
