
The class of 2018 closes their high school career as they look forward to their future beyond FC. Before graduation, The Feather choose seniors to spotlight every week to get to know them a little better. This is the 2018 senior spotlight of Joshua Villa.
How long have you attended FCS?
I have been attending FCS since the 4th grade.
What’s your favorite hobby/what do you do in your free time?
One of my favorite things to do during my free time is to read and collect comic books.
What’s your plan after you graduate?
My plan after I graduate is to get a car and a job. I want to enjoy my summer for a bit and then afterwards start preparing for college.
What has been your favorite memory from high school?
My favorite high school memory would have to be going to New York for the first time with choir and singing at Carnegie Hall. That is a memory I will never forget.
What advice would you give students about high school that you wish you knew?
The advice I would give to students about high school is to just enjoy it. Don’t let the stress get to you. If you study and make sure to turn your work in on time you should be fine.
Fun facts: I am the youngest of 5 siblings. I absolutely love Pitch Perfect and I have seen it at least 10 times. I am a insanely fast reader and can comprehend almost any book given to me as long as it is in English. I was born in Visalia and moved to Fresno when I was about 5.
