Family, friends, coaches and the baseball team recognize their seniors at the varsity baseball senior night, May 4. They win their homegame, 12-9, against Minarets High School.
Congratulations to seniors Tyler Villines, Brandon Krueger, John Baker and Roman Endicott.
After nine years playing baseball and four at FC, Krueger not only grew to love baseball, but also to bond and make memories with his teamates. He plays utility outfielder and left field for the varsity baseball team.
“My favorite memory from these past four years was our playoff game last year, which ultimately led to us winning the valley championship game,” Krueger said. “It was a great experience and I got to do it with some of my closest friends which made it absolutely amazing. Over these past four years, I have learned not only how to become a better baseball player, but that baseball isn’t 100% about the game itself,” Krueger continues.
“It’s about learning to work and grow with those around you. Being able to depend on your teammates and know that they are out there along side you is so important to not only the game itself, but it is applicable to life as well. I am going to miss being able to play a sport I love everyday with guys that I consider family.”
Eagle’s next game will be at Curathers High School starting at 4 p.m., May 8.
