PreK-6th grade parents and faculty gather at FC for the annual elementary Back to School Night, Aug. 14.

Superintendent Jeremy Brown opens the night by greeting parents and introducing elementary principal Katie Reneau, as well as presenting each grade’s teachers. Teachers are released to their classrooms after Reneau has introduced all faculty. Parents proceed to make their way to their child’s classroom.

Parents visit their child’s classroom, gaining an inside view to what an average day of class consists of. Teachers greet parents and provide grade level expectations and insight.

Teachers decorate the exterior and interior of their classrooms with a variety of projects and crafts. Posters with key verses and traits are placed outside of Michelle Devereaux, fourth grade, room. Other projects from various classrooms include handmade posters filled with student’s goals for the year. Another craft is flower pot cut outs including information about the student.
