When most people climb into the ring or step on a battlefield they have trained for the fight of their life. Lindsay Weimer, ‘20, never thought her sophomore year would entail facing cancer, overcoming hip replacement and pelvic reconstruction, all while never losing hope. One year out from this courageous fight Lindsay is taking on new challenges as a photojournalist on The Feather. Weimer aspires to improve upon her photography skills in order to start her own business, photographing people with disabilities. After completing high school, Weimer anticipates attending university to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse anesthetist. Alongside caring for people, Lindsay enjoys singing and is a member of the campus women’s Bellezza ensemble, the student led worship team, Sister to Sister, a student mentoring program, CSF and looks forward to re-joining school sports.
