Over 550 grandparents, joined students and faculty for the 27th annual FC Grandparents Day, Sept. 21. Guests enjoy a morning full of classroom visitations, a special chapel and lunch, with time to catch a glimpse of their grandchildren’s community.
With many grandchildren attending the school, Pete and Carolyn Degroot enjoy grandparents day each year. Together they love spending time with their grandchildren.
“In total, we have six grandchildren who attend Fresno Christian,” Carolyn said. “We really love coming to grandparents day because it gives us an opportunity to really be a part of their classes which we always hear so much about,” Pete continued. “If I could tell them all one thing it would be to know the Lord.”
We are thankful for how many grandparents have been returning to this event. Students and staff continue to welcome grandparents and honor them for the impact they have on the lives of our community.
