National See You At The Pole day, (SYATP) ignites passion in the campus faculty and student body, Sept. 26.

FC students gather in the courtyard at 7 a.m. where people participate in prayer, worshiping, and reading scripture. The band included worship team leader Daniel Garrison, and the following students, Alexander Rurik ‘19, Kamryn Schultz ‘19 and Logan Lewis ‘20. They played many songs including ‘King of my Heart’, ‘Be Still’, ‘Broken Vessel’ and ‘So Will I’.

Students pray over five topics including the student body, families, health, teachers and the leaders around us. Throughout worship, students prayed in smaller groups with the people near them, and ended the hour with group prayer.

SYATP is a time for people to come together and pray for the needs of others. All across the San Joaquin Valley and nation, students will be gathering at their school’s flagpole for a time of student-led prayer. They pray for local, state and national issues including government leaders, schools, elections and much more.

Thank you to all who came out this morning! Join youth groups from across Fresno County at Peoples Church tonight for a night of prayer and worship, 6:30 p.m.

Let us know what you thought of SYATP this morning in the comments down below!
