Peoples Church hosts The United Night of Worship and Prayer, Sept. 26. The Chase, Peoples Church’s youth group, meet in the main auditorium with 15 churches from the Fresno area, including Cross City Church and Northeast Assembly. Food and activities began at 6:00 p.m. and the service started at 7:00 p.m.
Students from around the Fresno area, gather at local churches yearly for See You At The Pole. to pray for our schools and nation.
Earlier in the day, students congregated around their school’s flagpole to pray for their classmates and teachers. SYATP provides an opportunity for students who believe in God, to come together, and pray for the challenges they are facing and for the things they hope to see change around them.
Hannah Villines, ’21, shares why she believes SYATP is important.
“See you at the pole is an important day because it is an opportunity to get students all around the valley, state, the country, and even the world to join in unity and put aside all diversity to pray to the One who brings us together in the first place,” Villines said.
