With a name of, ‘A Happily Ever After Homecoming,’ it is obvious that the theme this year is Disney. Last year’s, ‘Homecoming for Humanity‘ tradition of donating to a non-profit organization continues. This year, class floats will sell various goods and donations will be accepted for Kids on a Mission.
Kids on a Mission is a faith-based organization with ties all around the world. Their mission is to, “To empower kids, develop their leadership and communication skills, connect them to projects, mobilize kids and partners, give our time, talents and treasures to serve kids in poverty and impact the world for God’s glory.”
It’s the middle of the week and students roll out of bed heading straight to school for Sleeping Beauty’s Wake-Up Wednesday, Oct. 3. PJ bottoms, onesies and blankets fill the campus as students of all ages wear their pajamas to school.
The first rain of the season sprinkles down on and off thought out the day. Due to the weather, the scheduled Kajabi is canceled and instead, the princesses are interviewed about some of their favorite things, hobbies and many other things.
Tomorrow, Oct. 4, is Moana’s Tropical Thursday, so make sure to wear your Hawaiian gear! Also, Kona Ice will sell shaved ice so bring your money.
