Campus choral department performed during the annual fall concert in the People’s Church auditorium, Oct. 22.
Susan Ainley, who has been directing the Fresno Christian choir for 18 years shares interesting fun facts about 65 students in high school choir this year. “By the numbers,” shows the diversity of students that participate in many sports and extracurricular activities along with devoting their time to choir.
Bellezza, woman ensemble, has 14 members currently and will be traveling to Westmont College for an invitational performance, Oct. 26.
Rylee Schwab, ‘21, joined ensemble this year. Schwab was in choir for three years before joining girl’s ensemble.
Schwab shares why she enjoys being apart of ensemble and why more girls should join.
“My favorite part about ensemble is being part of a small group of talented girls and getting to hear how well our hard work pays off,” Schwab said. “I think that more people should join ensemble because it’s a way to connect with other people and feel like your in a small family while getting to sing amazing songs.”
The choral department will next perform in the yearly Christmas concert, “Lessons and Carols”, Dec. 3.
The FC instrumental departments will be performing at their Christmas concert, Dec. 10.
