Hope Villines, leader of Sister to Sister, holds an on-campus older sister training lunch discussing upcoming events for the holidays, Nov. 6.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, Villines looked for ways to make the holidays exciting for the participants. Villines is focusing on bonding younger sisters and older sisters together.

During the older sister training lunch Villines gave older sisters a card with the Bible verse, Psalm 46:10, which states “Be still and know that I am God.” Villines has this verse on her heart to share with the older sisters to help them handle their stress. She encouraged sisters to put the card where they will see it everyday to remind them to take a breathe and trust that God will calm their worries.

The next meeting will be an off-campus lunch, Nov 13.
