Seniors who are intrested in applying to a Cal State university, attend the CSU application workshop, Nov. 14.
This provides students an oppurtunity to go over their application with admissions reps from the CSU system as well as academic advisor, Evangelina Tello.
Tello works to assist students prepare for college and helps them apply for colleges and other acedemic things such as scholarships. She explains the benefit the workshop has for seniors for their college future.
“The benefit is for our seniors,” Tello said, “who are interested in a foreign university, such as a state school or any CSU in California to get their questions answered and to have guidance through the application process.”

High school senior, Kayla Fermanian, plans to attend Fresno State or Long Beach State and major in business as well as minor in pre law and hopefully get into law school eventually.
“I hope to get a better view on what colleges are available and hopefully get help in with applying to colleges,” Fermanian said, “because it’s a lot of work and it’s really stressful right now. I recommend going to the CSU application workshop, because it’s really helpful and the teachers are there to help, and it’s free so it is something to take advantage of.”
For those intrested, another CSU and Fresno State workshop will be available on Fresno State’s campus from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Nov. 17, in the Ag Sciences department in room 101.
The deadline to turn in your CSU application is Nov. 30.
