Students in sixth period Spanish III prepare for their trip to Vallarta’s Supermarkets by reviewing their online website in class, Nov. 29.
Two periods of Spanish III students will be traveling to Vallarta Supermarkets, Dec. 5-6. Students are assigned different departments of the store to look over and review. At the store, students are to ask questions about each department to further improve their Spanish knowledge and speaking skills.
Spanish teacher Rachel Rodriguez shares about the purpose of the trip for her students.
“Given that we are learning Spanish, it would be a good way to experience the Spanish culture,” Rodriguez said. “Its important to learn where the different food and products are exported from. Then of course to use Spanish speaking skills outside of a classroom and applying it in real world scenarios.”
