Performing in the Peoples Church main auditorium, Susan Ainley’s conducts her three choral groups, ‘Cantiamo,’ the high school choir, ‘Bellezza,’ girl’s ensemble and junior high choir in the annual “Lessons and Carols” program, Dec. 3.

Bellezza performs “Sing We Now Noel” for the first song of the night. Some other Christmas songs included, “Have You Seen the Newborn King,” “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Bell Carol.”

Solos were performed by seniors Macie ThompsonLandon GoldsboroughReece TrevinoAmanda Grimmius and sophomore Andrew Moore.

In between songs, students read verses with nine lessons in total. Finishing up the night, students surrounded the audience singing a contemporary anthem called, “All On a Silent Night.”
