As the class of 2019 looks forward to graduation, The Feather spotlights seniors in an effort to know them better. This series will focus on their time at Fresno Christian and their aspirations moving forward. This is the 2019 senior spotlight of Bethany Pouliot.
How many years have you attended FCS?
I have been attending FC for a year. I started my junior year at Buchanan High School and then transferred to FC second semester of junior year.
Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year? Which is your top pick?
I applied to Clovis Community College so that I could live at home to save money and also get a full time job to save up for when I transfer to a four-year. I plan on majoring in either psychology or elementary education.
A favorite memory of high school?
This year was the first year I decided to join the cheerleading team. It is a lot of hard work but so much fun with the girls. My favorite memories come from cheering at the Friday night football games.
Who has been an influential “favorite” teacher in your eyes and how?
My favorite teacher is Aubri Foster. She is so kind and loves others because Jesus loved her first and reflects that through her bright personality. She has been a listening ear and is always willing to pray for me. I appreciate her sweet words of encouragement and her influential wisdom in my life.
What activities have you been involved in over the past 4 years?
Since coming to FC, I have been involved in leadership as well as taking part in the track and cheer teams.
Is there anything you wished you would have done differently?
Part of me wishes that I came to FC sooner so that I could experience as much of what this school has to offer, but God put me here at the right timing. I wouldn’t have changed anything about it.
A fun fact about Pouliot is her passion for photography. She started her own photography business called Bethany Dawnn Photography.
