Heading into a new year and new semester, many focus on how to better themselves and those around them. Four campus staff members are asked if they have any resolutions or goals for the new year. Their answers range from growing spiritually to remembering where things were placed.
Scott Bucher, science and math teacher, Kyle Dodson, language arts and drama teacher, Kimberly Bell, home economics teacher, and Hallie Rojeski, social study and Bible teacher, share both professional and personal goals.
While students may see their teachers as just ‘information releasers,’ collectively each staff member wants what is best for their student encouraging them to be the best they can be as highlighted by Hallie Rojeski.
“I would like to see the students gain confidence in their ability to read and analyze material,” Rojeski said, “and to accomplish more than they think they can. They can do far more and learn far more than they ever thought they could. I don’t want them to sell themselves short.”
