Continuing their winning streak, the FC boys team defeat Laton, 85-19. They now hold an undefeated league record of, 5-0.
Two year team member, Griffin Schmidt, ‘19, shares his expectations for the season and aspires to compete in playoffs with the rest of his team.
“This season I’m hoping to learn how to play together as a team and see what our full potential is as a team,” Schmidt said. “I’ve been playing basketball for two years and it’s been a great way to have fun with my friends. I’m sad that this is my last basketball season in highschool but I’m also excited to see how well our team can do in playoffs this year.”
FC varsity boys basketball will play next against Alpaugh High School at 7 p.m. in the Fresno Christian gym on, Jan 25.
