Junior Wesley Hinton presents his Environmentalist poster project in Rachel Rodriguez’s third period Spanish III class, Feb. 5.
The goal of this project is to bring awareness of environmental issues to students. This project also provides an effective way to put grammar and vocabulary they have learned into practice. Finally, Spanish III allows students to engage in conversations that go beyond common dialogue.
Hinton is a lifer at Fresno Christian and enjoys the challenge that Spanish III provides.
“This year in Spanish, I have gotten much more experience at putting together full sentences,” Hinton said. “I have also been able to expand upon my vocabulary. The ability to understand and speak Spanish will be very helpful in the future, especially if I am still living in California. This project made me more aware of environmental issues, but it was mostly a challenge that improved my Spanish speaking abilities.
The class will be exchanging gifts in honor of Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Stay tuned to The Feather’s Instagram page for more details coming soon!
