Juniors Brittany McCann and Shauna Howard celebrate Valentine’s day by participating in a ‘Secret Valentines’ activity, Feb. 14.
Each student in Rachel Rodriguez’s sixth period Spanish III class chose a ‘Secret Valentine’ to buy a gift for. In addition to purchasing gifts for one another, students brought soup and ingredients for grilled cheese sandwiches.
Junior Shauna Howard enjoyed the opportunity this activity gave her to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her friends.
“My favorite part of the ‘Secret Valentines’ activity was giving someone a gift that made them happy,” Howard said. “This activity showed me how kind and giving our class is. Valentine’s Day is an important holiday for me because it is a great time to celebrate friendships. I love that Spanish III gives me the opportunity to improve upon my Spanish skills. In addition, it allows me to grow in my relationships with my friends.”
Spanish III will be presenting their own inventions that contribute to the environment as their next project.
