Feather editors highlight their site through the areas of journalism, photo journalism and video journalism, each of which working together to provide coverage of FC and the Fresno community.
Co-video editor, Braden Bell, ’20, shares his thoughts on National Scholastic Journalism week and the importance it has to high school publications nationwide.
“This week is dedicated to student publications, giving news outlets a chance to promote themselves and explain themselves and what goes on behind the scenes,” Bell said. “Specific to our newspaper, we exist to promote the life and times of a campus student, promote and cover community events and inform others of any relevant news. This week we ask everyone to stay engaged with us! Through both our social media pages and our actual site, it is crucial that everyone likes, comments and shares our content.”
Throughout the week, The Feather will work to promote the different activities of National Scholastic Journalism Week, as well as the normal coverage of the campus and community. Stay connected with the publication through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TheFeather.com and using the hashtag, #SJW2019.
