Students in Rachel Rodriguez’s fourth period Spanish II present a fashion show to the class, March 7.
Spanish II is currently learning vocabulary to explain clothing and describe how they fit. Students work in groups to write a script and plan the outfits.
Each group member shows off their outfit in the front of the class while a different member of the group describes the clothing, while music plays in the background.
A panel of judges observes the show and compliments the outfit. Judges rate the fashion show on a scale from one to ten, while Rodriguez grades speech and grammar of the presentation.
Spanish II will now transition into the next unit, studying Mexico and learning to tell a legend. For the end of the year final, students will be required to create their own legend and present it to the class.
