California Scholarship Federation (CSF) gathers for the last official meeting of the 2018-2019 school year, April 4.
CSF is a non-profit organization with a mission to recognize and encourage academic achievements. Students volunteer around the community and include the amount of time spent volunteering in a mandatory ‘Hour Log’.
Members involved with CSF for four-six semesters in high school are considered ‘Life Members’. Students involved with CSF are also given the opportunity to travel off campus during lunch twice a month.
With seniors preparing to graduate, academic advisor, Evangelina Tello, recommends juniors and sophomores to begin researching the admission requirements of their preferred colleges. Students interested in attending UC and private colleges should also consider taking the SAT and ACT test to meet the requirements to enroll.
