Every year as a part of seniors’ exit from high school and entry into the real world, seniors from Andrea Donaghe’s English class are interviewed. Much like a job interview, students must make themselves a resume and put on their church clothes to represent themselves to their stand-in potential bosses. Students sell themselves on their qualifications and experience in order to prepare for future interviews.
Between Monday, April 29, 2019 and Wednesday, May 1, 2019 seniors will spend time in their English classes building a resume and practicing with their fellow students for big day on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Much like the students they’re in charge of, teachers and administrators both have had many job interviews throughout their lives, figuring out what works more importantly what doesn’t. As a way of helping seniors out, a few Fresno Christian High School teachers decided to give some words of wisdom to the future leaders, some of those tips being: dress appropriately, don’t chew gum, look eye to eye, don’t slouch, and speak clearly.
In the video below you can see teachers giving their advice to the seniors for their interviews on May 2.
