Kyle Dodson’s drama class presents ‘The Tempest,’ a William Shakespeare play, April 27.
‘The Tempest’ centers around a sorcerer, Prospero and his daughter Miranda. The play was written by Shakespeare in 1610-1611 and is thought to be one of the last plays he wrote without the help of anyone else.
Junior Zeke Fuller loved the opportunity acting in ‘The Tempest’ gave him to learn how to work with people in a team.
“My favorite part about getting to act in this play was getting to release everything I had,” Fuller said. “In my role, it was acceptable to be a crazy drunk. I didn’t have to hold anything back. Through being a part of this play, I learned how to work in a team. It doesn’t matter how good you are at acting if you can’t work as part of a team. Being involved in this play was truly a special thing to be a part of.”
Thank you to everyone who played a role in helping the play to take place!
