The class of 2019 departs for their annual senior trip, May 15.
While in Los Angeles, the senior class will enjoy a teppanyaki dinner before attending a baseball game at Dodgers stadium and adventure in Disneyland. To finish the trip off, the class of 2019 will bowl at Santa Clarita Lanes after spending an afternoon in Santa Monica at the beach.
Senior Alina Davila loved that this trip represented a new chapter beginning in her life.
“The part of this trip that I was most excited for was the fact that it means summer is coming soon and a new chapter of my life is beginning,” Davila said. “Being involved in the school worship team has been the best part of senior year. That and being a teacher’s aide to Coach Hope (Villines). Both Coach Hope and G (Daniel Garrison) are great teachers who have poured into my life. The biggest thing I have learned from this year is how to persevere.”
The class of 2019 will graduate at 7 p.m. in the Peoples Church main auditorium, May 23.
