Spotlight Productions presents Dr. Seuss’s holiday classic “The Grinch” play to parents and students in the Student Ministry Center (SMC), Dec.3. This was the first performance produced by drama teacher Megan Conner.
Elementary students giggled, laughed and even participated in the production as The Grinch, Colton Allen, ’20, proceeded into the crowd, grabbing an elementary student to play the role of his reindeer, Max. Narrating from stage left, senior Shauna Howard reads the original book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Suess, while various actors added to the Whoville cast.
If you missed the first showing of the play, there are three more opportunities to see this production. The showings will be at West Fresno Elementary School at 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., Dec. 11. Additionally, an encore performance of The Grinch for the FC middle and high school students, Dec. 13, in the SMC at 10:15 a.m.
