Stepping back onto Fresno Christian’s campus, friends are reunited for in person learning, Oct. 15.
With the Fresno County announcement, Oct. 13, that coronavirus cases remained in the red tier, it meant the reopening of Fresno Christian middle and high school.
Starting with a new daily routine moving through a health check students started their day with homeroom to hear about new protocols and schedule changes.
As part of this new daily routine, students MUST wear masks at all times, except during lunch as long as they are distanced. Temperature check-ins before 8:00 a.m. with online health screening questions act as a ticket into school.
FC spent the summer preparing for the possibility of coming back in person which allowed this transition to happen quickly. Inside classrooms tables are wiped between every period, hand sanitation stations are inside and outside every classroom. The hallway motto is, “Keep moving.”
The other big change brings a socially distanced chapel which takes place in Peoples Church auditorium. Prior chapels allowed the student body to gather up front while singing together and on occasion energetic bouncing and vibes to upbeat music.
Hope you had a great first day back! We want to know: How are you liking school back in person? Comment down below!
