Fresno Christians Associated Student Body (ASB) for the 2020- ’21 school year consists of a 7 “man” team. ASB officers are seniors Jacob Hyatt, Bryce Foshee, Andrew Rieker, Carston Saelzler, juniors Ashley Logan, Derek DeGroot and Skylar Higginbotham.
ASB are students who are willing to represent their class and make decisions for the high school. ASB meets every Monday in room 608 to discuss the week and events. Students apply for this spot and typically have elections where classes elect the student body.
With complications of the current pandemic, ASB did not hold elections, so those who applied for positions were selected by leadership teachers, Aubri Foster and Robert Foshee.
Secretary, Ashley Logan, ’22, shares why wanted to be apart of ASB and what she hopes to gain from this experience.
“I joined ASB because there was a need for a secretary and I wanted to step up as a junior, Logan says.” As secretary, I make agendas from meetings and take notes during those meetings to make sure all the important stuff gets written down for future reference. From this experience, I hope to gain confidence by doing things outside my comfort zone. I would definitely be interested in joining ASB again next year. ”
