For 243 years, it is Americas custom to elect and vote for the next president. This years 2020 presidential candidates are Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
The question for the past months is: Who will win?
Voting started as early are September 18 for states such as Minnesota, Wyoming and South Dakota. Both mail and in person voting, wrapped up Nov. 3
As of BBC News, Biden leads national presidential poll votes by 52% and Trump 44%, Tuesday morning, Nov. 3.
Within several days of counting, the election came down to Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. After a close race within 4% of each other, one overall winner was announced, the morning of Nov. 7.
The 46th president of the United States is Joe Biden along with the first female vice president Kamala Harris.
Biden has won over 74.4 million votes, the most votes for a president in the history of America. Followed by. Trump with 70.5 million votes. Overall 161 million Americans voted in the 2020 election.
Electoral votes: 290-214
Senate votes: 46-48
House of representative votes: 214-195
Joe Biden’s first words after announced president was:

America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country.
The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not.
I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”
