Campus students returned to in person learning after distance learning began March 13, 2020. Now, after a month back in school, students share some of their experiences even as COVID-19 continues to affect communities across the nation.
Alternative learning had many challenges felt by students as they attempted to continue their education amongst a global pandemic. Meeting with classes over WebEx and being isolated under stay home orders made it difficult for students to connect. The first day back on campus was Oct. 15, 2020.
Many challenges and new adjustments provided an opportunity for students to return to campus was not an easy quick change for many. The Feather asked many students what it felt like to be back… and what being back felt like. No regular fall activities with many new protocols make this yet again, another new adjustment.
