College Board announces test plan
[/media-credit] AP students will soon be studying for their upcoming tests. The books are piling up!

The College Board has made an official announcement for this year’s AP Testing options. This will affect 59 Fresno Christian High-school students that are currently taking AP classes. For the 20-21 school year, FC teaches AP European HistoryAP Language and Comp, AP biology, AP calculus, and AP microeconomics.

As schools across the nation differ in alternative learning styles, designing a test to meet all needs has proven to be a challenge.  This year, three testing options will be available. In-person, hybrid and online options will be offered. Last year, 422,000 students were registered online, 834,000 exams were taken, with 974 schools nationwide.

Last year, for the first time in history, the College Board had to offer a digital alternative with only one section of the original AP test. Numerous technical difficulties made it hard for the testing process to be successful.

Each subject will have three testing dates. Out of three available administrations, Fresno Christian will be using the fully in-person option (administration one). All exams will be full length with traditional formatting and will be taken on the school campus with Evangelina Escovedo proctoring.

Testing dates for the FC administration of the test are:

Biology- May 14th

Language and Comp.- May 12th

European History- May 7th

Microeconomics- May 12th

Calculus- May 4th
