Three days after The Feather Online won an NSPA Pacemaker, ABC 30 Action News visits The Feather’s lab and interviews Editor-in-Chiefs Rees Roggenstein, Chloe Mueller, and Joshua Carter, April 19.
“Success doesn’t have to wait until you’re old enough. These students represent that expertly. They’ve all learned skills that will help them throughout their years,” Roggenstein said.
ABC30 reporter Vanessa Vasconcelos also questioned journalism adviser Greg Stobbe about the importance of this class.
“These kids are learning real world skills that they can take with them directly to college or a job right out of high school,” Stobbe said. “The words gotta be right. The angle of the photo needs to be right. It’s an endless procedure to try to get them to see the next level,” Stobbe said.
