Due to a lack of time and attendance at past informational meetings, FC Live has been cancelled on May 14.
?We weren?t able to print the promotional material in time,? Jon Endicott, associate principal, said. ?We also found FC Live attendance has gone down over the past several years and so we chose to cancel it.?
While the event may have seemed beneficial for prospective parents, the administration believes individual consultations give families a better view of the campus and community.
?Our school prefers to meet with families individually anyways,? Endicott said. ?The main goal is to show families our distinctive Christian education while highlighting our sports and performing arts programs. We will still send out the promotional materials and post cards just as we would?ve at FC Live.?
As an alternative, the school is doing a double mailing to the in-house database. This includes a new brochure, which promotes current attending families to invite a friend.
?We still want to increase our enrollment,? Endicott said. ?Families who refer a new student to our school get $500 off their child?s tuition.?
