Students get a three day weekend in honor of Presidents Day, Feb. 15.
Abraham Lincoln’s birthday is, Feb. 12. and George Washington’s upcoming birthday is, Feb. 22.
Presidents Day was originally created to celebrate George Washington’s birthday but never actually falls on his birthday or any president’s birthday. This day began in the 1960’s when congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act.
